4-Week Introduction to Massage

2025 Price: €90 per hour × 8 hours = €720 per couple.
Certificate of Attendance received at end of course.
Week 1
- Students will gain knowledge of basic Anatomy & Physiology (A&P), including bones and superficial muscles of the foot and leg.
- Students will learn the benefits of massage.
- Students will gain knowledge of aromatherapy and base oils.
- Students will learn basic strokes of massage.
- Students will receive a treatment and swap to practice what they have learnt.
- Students will practice at home.
Week 2
- Review and questions from Week 1.
- Students will learn bones and superficial muscles of the back, back of the neck, and shoulders (BNS).
- Students will receive a treatment and swap to practice what they have learnt and review the leg massage.
- Students will practice at home.
Week 3
- Review from Week 1 and Week 2.
- Students will learn basic A&P of the hand, arm, and head/face.
- Students will receive a treatment and swap to practice.
- Students will practice at home.
Week 4
- Review from Weeks 1–3.
- Demonstrate knowledge gained throughout the course, including answering basic A&P questions.
- Perform 45–60 minute treatments on each other in class.
- Home practice required to relieve tension in the legs, back, neck, shoulders, head, and arms.
